Expert Optometrist Dr. Mark A. Yoder

Dr. Mark graduated from Bluffton High School in 1982, did his undergraduate work at Taylor University and The Ohio State University, and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1989. He has practiced in Bluffton ever since. He loves all areas of Optometric care and enjoys fitting the latest designs of contact lenses, diagnosing and treating eye disease (macular degeneration, glaucoma, etc.), pediatric vision, co-managing surgical cases, and helping with his patient’s visual needs. He loves to travel; hang out with his wife, kids and grandchild; photograph sports and nature; be active in his church; and volunteer for various ministries.

Dr. Nathan M Goedde

Expert Optometrist Dr. Nathan M Goedde

Dr. Nathan graduated from Kalida High School in 2005 and did his undergraduate training at the University of Findlay. He followed his dream of becoming an Optometrist at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, graduating in 2016. He did his residency training at Specialty Eye Institute in Toledo and then practiced for two years in the Toledo area while his wife finished her Nurse Anesthetist training. Dr. Goedde joined Family Eye Care Clinic of Bluffton in April of 2019 and loves helping people see better and utilizing the latest in eyewear design, contact lenses, and diagnostic equipment. He loves treating eye diseases and working with emergency care. In his spare time he enjoys the great outdoors with his wife and family, loves to fish, sit by a fire, play and watch soccer (Columbus Crew) or catch a Browns or Indians game.
